Early Education Pre-School, Scone

Providing equal opportunities for our local community children to experience quality education and care.

Scone and District Pre-school is a community based service providing care and education for 3 to 5 year old children.

We aim to provide a friendly, secure atmosphere in which children are valued and encouraged to develop independence, self regulation and self esteem.

We offer a play based program guided by the Early Years Learning Framework for all children aged 3-5 years, with a focus on documenting every child’s development.

Our programs are developed based on the children’s interests and implemented in such a way as to further develop and enhance the whole child in a holistic way.

Our teachers are leaders and all staff members are educators who partner with children and families in learning.
We recognise that children's learning is dynamic, complex and holistic.
We value the knowledge that families have of their child and encourage them to share their insights and perspectives with us.

CHILDREN

We recognise that children’s learning is dynamic, complex and holistic. Physical, social, emotional, personal, spiritual, creative, cognitive and linguistic aspects of learning are all interwoven and interrelated.

We believe that children have the potential to co-construct knowledge and the ability to share learning experiences. They are active participants in their learning and can assist in decision making.

FAMILIES

We value the knowledge that families have of their child and encourage them to share their insights and perspectives with us.

We believe family members are partners in their children’s learning.

EDUCATORS
